Literacy President Questions for Candidates
Next Steps for the Literacy President Initiative
- In winter 2007, a training packet will be made available.
This training will prepare adult learners and practitioners to:
- put the questions into their own words,
- become comfortable with asking the questions,
- raise these questions at house parties and caucuses in
early primary states, and
- report back candidates’ positions on adult education
and literacy issues.
- As individuals declare their candidacy, the Literacy
President Group will be sending them a packet of information
and a face-to-face meeting will be arranged to discuss the
issues with candidates.
- Candidates’ positions will be posted on the Literacy President web site.
